Local Government Workplace Solutions is a service provided by the WA Local Government Association (WALGA).  WALGA is the peak employer body for Local Governments in Western Australia.

Local Government Workplace Solutions provides recruitment, training, human resource management and workplace relations support to Local Government clients. We have specialist staff who have thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, workplace relations cases and the industry that qualify them to act as representatives of individual Local Governments and the sector generally.

Recruitment and selection services are provided exclusively to the Local Government sector - our business is your business. Local Government Workplace Solutions work with Local Governments in designing processes and in assisting in the recruitment and selection of the best possible employees across a broad range of positions.

Local Government Workplace Solutions has developed a significant range of training and development modules for use by both employees' and Elected Members within Local Government. Most of these are unique within the sector and are continuously reviewed and updated to remain contemporary.
