Local Government Remuneration Survey
The 2007 Local Government Remuneration Survey has been completed and copies of the report are available for purchase by calling 08 9213 2014 or emailing Courtnet Stevenson at cstevenson@walga.asn.au.
The Survey is a collaborative initiative by the Local Government Associations of Western Australia, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria and the Northern Territory ensuring information is maintained only within the Local Government sector.
137 Local Governments contributed to the 2007 Local Government Remuneration Survey, up from 131 in 2006. Representing 20.2% of all Local Governments in Australia, participation came from:

The Survey monitors 105 generic Local Government job positions. Along with statistics on employer superannuation contributions, salary increases and employee turnover, workforce planning information has been collected. This data provides a snapshot of age, sex, ethnicity and disability information across most of the industry.
Local Governments within Australia are able to purchase copies of the Survey in either a printed format or on a CD Rom at the rates outlined below.
