Overseas Recruitment update

Members of the Workplace Solutions Team have just returned from the United Kingdom and Ireland where they attended recruitment events in London, Leeds and Dublin.  These events were supported by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and the Department of Training and Workforce Development.  At these events Workplace Solutions promoted the Local Government sector to candidates with experience in skill shortage areas such as; Town Planning, Engineering, Environmental Health, Building Surveying as well as a host of other areas.

The Workplace Solutions Recruitment team are currently processing high volumes of applications as a result of these events, and many of the candidates are ready to move to Australia.   We have been impressed with the quality of the applications received and their high levels of motivation to work in Australia in both metro and rural areas.
